Spooktober is in Full Swing
We all know October means a few things; leaves changing colors, temperatures dropping, but most importantly it means Trick-Or-Treating! While the idea of free candy is one of the most exciting things to a child, and lets face it, adults too, it’s no surprise that candy is not the best for you, but it’s all about moderation.
Studies have found that there are certain types of sugar, such as sucrose, that promote fat growth on your liver more than others. The growth of that fat can lead to the development of type 2 diabetes as well as fatty liver disease.
This week we wanted to share some of our favorite, healthier, sweet treat options. There are so many variations and many amazing bakers out there, these are only a few. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
