Share Your Story, Make A Difference

There are many different liver diseases in this world, from Hepatitis C to Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease to Hemochromatosis. There are even more causes that contribute to liver disease and we want to help educate everyone about them.

We’ve added a new option to our foundation where you can record and send us your liver health story. You never know who in the world is currently going through their liver health battle, and your story could help give them the hope that that are missing.

Hear Warren’s Story

Warren Simpson works for Sam Hunt Racing and after learning about our cause, he was quick to ask how he could help. Warren is a Hep C survivor and a huge inspiration for those affected by a liver disease. He has worked hard to end the negative stigma that overshadows liver disease and enjoys sharing his experience with others to make sure they don’t feel alone. Stories like Warren’s are extremely important to hear in the liver community and we are so proud to have him as part of the Race To End Hep C.

Not Just Hep C

While we were in Richmond, we met the happiest little boy and found out he had a liver transplant at the age of two. His mother was kind enough to share his story and informed us that one adult liver can become an organ transplant for two children. That fact was wonderful to learn and now be able to educate others about.

The Liver Health Foundation’s focus in not just ending the stigma around Hep C, but all liver diseases, and no matter which one you may be suffering from, we want to hear from you. You never know who could learn and grow from your story.
